Arctic National Wildlife Refuge Proposed Domestic Animal Regulation, AK

Live Public Hearing Webinar

On May 15th, 2020, EMPSi facilitated a live public hearing webinar for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).

The webinar facilitated by EMPSi allowed attendees to join by computer or phone to offer comments on the proposed regulation to prohibit the use of domestic sheep, goats, and camelids (i.e., llamas and alpacas) on Arctic National Wildlife Refuge lands due to concerns about disease transmission to Dall Sheep and other wildlife. The webinar included a narrated slideshow presentation and a facilitated public hearing. This webinar was recorded as part of the official public record. A recording and transcript of this public hearing webinar are available to the public. Included below are some clips from this webinar.
