On May 13th, 2021, EMPSi facilitated a live public hearing webinar for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).

The webinar allowed attendees to learn more about the proposal to list the Big Creek Crayfish and St. Francis River Crayfish on the Federal List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife under the Endangered Species Act. This webinar included a narrated slideshow presentation to provide an overview of the proposed listings and a Question and Answer portion, as well as a facilitated public hearing, during which participants could offer formal verbal public comments on the proposed listings via the Zoom web platform or over the phone. This webinar was attended by various members of the public, including Missouri state departments and agencies, commercial outfitters, and non-profit organizations. Included below are some clips from this facilitated webinar.

A recording and transcript of this public hearing webinar are available to the public. For more information on this project, please visit the project website.
