Live Public Hearing Webinar

On October 8th, 2020, EMPSi facilitated a live public hearing webinar for the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).

The webinar allowed attendees to learn more about the proposal to remove the Nashville Crayfish from the Federal List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife. This webinar included a narrated slideshow presentation to provide an overview of the proposed de-listing and a Question and Answer portion, as well as a facilitated public hearing, during which participants could offer public comments on the proposed de-listing via the Zoom web platform or over the phone. This webinar was attended by various members of the public, including Tennessee state departments and agencies, commercial outfitters, and non-profit organizations.
