Live Public Meeting Webinar

On July 7, 2021, EMPSi facilitated a live public hearing webinar for the US Fish and Wildlife Service, which allowed attendees to learn more about the proposal to downlist the Hawaiian Stilt (Ae’o) from endangered to threatened under the Endangered Species Act.

This webinar included a narrated slideshow presentation to provide an overview of the proposed downlisting, as well as a moderated live Q&A session with US Fish and Wildlife Service staff. Additionally, the webinar included a facilitated public hearing portion, during which participants could offer public comments on the proposed downlisting via the Zoom web platform or over the phone.
