Thank you for participating in the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) North Dakota Field Office Workshop on Economic Conditions, Trends, and Strategies.
We appreciate your attendance at the socioeconomic workshop and the input provided. Input was collected using a series of questions to help the BLM in various ways, including:
• Characterizing existing socioeconomic conditions and trends in the planning area
• Gathering input on social structure and values for area communities
• Identifying social and economic opportunities and constraints to help inform in alternatives development and determine appropriate indicators and analysis methods for the Resource Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement (RMP/EIS)
• Identifying collaboration opportunities
Opportunities for providing input during this phase ended on October 5th, 2020. For additional opportunities to provide input please see the BLM ePlanning website. Your contributions will contribute to the North Dakota RMP/EIS being a better management tool for the BLM to make informed decisions over the next few decades.
