Welcome to the North Dakota Draft RMP/EIS Virtual Open House

The United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) North Dakota Field Office (NDFO) is revising the resource management plan (RMP) for the North Dakota planning area and is seeking comments during the public comment period. The RMP is supported by National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) analysis in an environmental impact statement (EIS; hereinafter referred to as the North Dakota RMP/EIS). Currently, the NDFO is operating under the North Dakota RMP approved in 1988, as amended.

BLM has prepared the North Dakota Draft RMP/EIS in accordance with NEPA, and would like feedback from other agencies, interested parties, and the public on the North Dakota Draft RMP/EIS. The public has the opportunity to participate in the planning process and provide input through this web-based virtual open house from December XX, 2022 to March XX, 2023. All public comments must be submitted by close of business on March XX, 2023. The BLM will accept further comments after that deadline; however, those comments will not be included in the comment report for the North Dakota Draft RMP/EIS. Ongoing information and updates on the project will be available at BLM's ePlanning website.
